Hello, my name is Matthew. I`m writing this from my homecountry Poland. I`m a proffesional Health Care Assistant, which is a bit out of my jurisdiction here but have decided to ask for an advice anyway. I`m looking for a work in the UK (hospitals and care homes) over the internet at the moment but unfortunately, although I get in touch with recruiting agencies and direct employers everything (understandably) comes down to the problem of my applying from overseas. I`ve decide to come over to the UK then to look around for myself but have my concerns about that. Would you be kind then to advise me whether the beginning of a New Year can be considered a good time to come over to the UK or is it completely irrelevant? Are the new HCA admissions sometimes being held out at the end of the year until the after New Year due to closing/opening financial year schemes as is the case in Public Health sector in my country? Are there shortages in HCA area? thank you kindly for your advices and replies matthew Edited by JFN Admin - 10 Dec 2009 at 17:27 |
