Hello everyone,
I am 42, married with 4 children and 7 feline children. I have reached a stage in my life where I need to find something. Nursing is something that has interested me and so I think now is the time to seriously think about this. My big problem is am I too old at the age of 42 begin training? I would appreciate any advice. Regards, gingercat

Hi gingercat
I was 40 when I started my nurse training (3 year degree) and there were a few of us in our 40s on the course one in her fifties, dont let your age deter you it really doesnt make any difference in nursing in fact its probably in your favour.

Nursing does not discriminate when it comes to age. If becoming a nurse is your dream, do it. It's a very rewarding career.
