I used Athens for my psychology degree and I did find it very helpful. There are loads of journals available that our university just didn't stock. Plus it meant I could study more at home which was better for me at the time.

I hope this helps, it's definietely worth using your uni library account and Athens password.
Mind sometimes it can be a mindfield once your there.
