Dear Nurses,

I am writing a play about nurses.  What happens is...

A patient is being operated on. A nurse is told by the surgeon to give 4ml of medicine. She queries this but is told to get on with it, as the surgeon is always right. She does and the patient dies and there is shock everywhere. The surgeon blatantly lies and says he said 2ml, not 4.

and then it escalates.

I think nurses are totally amazing.  Really caring and brilliant, yet they always get blamed.  I want to know is this actually happens in reality and why nurses are always blamed.

You should be on a par with doctors

THANKS
