The Reality of Day to Day Nursing
Channel 4 is making a programme about what life is like for nurses and midwives working in NHS hospitals across the country. In the programme nurses will talk about what they really feel about their jobs, and describe the reality of day to day nursing.
We would like to hear from nurses and midwives who would like to help us and possibly take part. We are interested to find out about specific situations or events during your shifts in hospital and how you find the day to day of working life.
Do you work in A&E, on maternity and other wards, do you work nights? We are keen to hear from you whether you are contract staff or work through a Nursing Agency, if you are part-time or full-time.
What works well and what could be improved? What are the ups, and what are the frustrations, pressures and downsides to being a Nurse?
Your anonymity in conversations with us is guaranteed within the law. Our aim is to make a fresh, insightful and accurate film about nursing and midwifery in NHS hospitals today.
